Dr. Tanya Jury graduated with a broadcasting degree from Western Kentucky University. After graduating with a Bachelors in Broadcasting and Political Science, Tanya worked in the media at various Louisville TV stations and local radio stations for five years before changing careers to education. She earned a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership Studies. For the last 20 years, Tanya has worked as a teacher, instructional coach, Assistant Principal, and Principal at both middle and high schools. She is currently the Director of High Schools for Hardin County Schools. She has 3 children: Tyler, Nelson, and Elizabeth. Her passions include reading, traveling, and coaching and empowering educators.
