About me
I have been in education for 15 years and enjoy sharing my passion for teaching and learning with others. My background in education spans middle grades English Language Arts and instructional coaching. I have appreciated the experience I have gained working to support teachers in K-12, and undergraduate field experiences while developing course work to support future educators through alternative pathways. I enjoy engaging in conversations and solution seeking endeavors centered on standards work, using data to support instruction and academic achievement, and coaching cycles. I believe in and advocate for lifelong learning and possess a B.A degree in English from South Carolina State University, Masters of education in teaching with an emphasis in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of South Carolina, Masters in Educational Leadership from Winthrop University, and am actively seeking a doctoral degree in higher education. I look forward to this time of learning and collaboration as I learn more about improvement in education!
