About me

Emily Nelson is the Executive Director of Student Support at Educational Service District 105 (ESD 105) in Yakima, WA. With over 16 years in Behavioral Health, Emily leads Together 105, offering integrated services across southwestern Washington schools. Holding a Master’s in Education in School Counseling and pursuing a Superintendent Certification at Western Washington University, Emily is dedicated to professional growth. Her passion lies in merging education and behavioral health systems to meet student needs holistically, fostering equity and social justice. Outside work, Emily enjoys camping with her husband and three children in the Pacific Northwest.
